You must wet it first, squeeze it under a tap 3/4 times. It will then get bigger, make sure you have squeezed the excess water from the sponge before you use it.
No, ensure you hand wash the Hourglass sponge with warm/cold water and a gentle soap remember these sponges are super soft and should be handled with care. Tumble dryer or any eat applied directly to the sponge is a no go, you must allow the sponge to air dry and ensure it is not packed away in a closed area whilst damp.
Everyone's eyes are different sizes, I consider myself personally to have big eyes but I always have to trim the lash band to the right size. Make sure when trimming the inner/outer lash band you trim small bits at a time to avoid cutting too much off. Do not get scissor happy.
